English abstract

In the modern world, where everything is just a click away, there is an increasing need for training by academic libraries. In order to combat the dispersion of users in this excess of information, which very often leads to an information overload, academic libraries are increasingly engaged in the implementation of information literacy modules and actions. Their aim is to train a literate person, and a more conscious user, who knows how to use the means and tools suggested by the academic library to recognise, evaluate and use the information that is accessed through any type of research; modules and actions that also aim to make users familiar with and use the tools that the library makes available to its users, thus guiding them to research and use the catalogue/Discovery, the use of databases and the recognition of document types. This is how the figure of instruction librarian was born, constantly engaged in individual or group lessons, required and not, in presence and online, synchronous and asynchronous, as well as in the creation of training materials and information such as lessons, modules, video tutorials, video recordings, creation of bibliographies, podcasts and MOOCs.
