English abstract
With the conference “Tante biblioteche, una rete” (i.e., Many libraries, one network) in Milan (Oct. 20, 2025), the process - initiated by Law 15/2020 under the guidance of a hub school (Gonzaga in Castiglione delle Stiviere, Mantua) and then a lead institution (Gino Strada Comprensive School in Casirate d’Adda, Bergamo) - has been completed in Lombardy. The history of this journey, the consistency of this institution in the complex reality of Lombardy, and the future objectives of the network are presented in this contribution, in which one can revisit the lessons of Venuda (usefulness of networks), Ballestra (information literacy), and Marquardt (IFLA-UNESCO School Library Manifesto 2025).
