L’advocacy delle biblioteche scolastiche

Abstract

Engaging in advocacy is part of the school librarians’ tasks. Key professional documents (AASL, ALA, IFLA, etc.) provide useful references for effective school library advocacy which, in addition to involving the different components of the school and local community, is implemented by revitalizing the position of the school librarian; enhancing the teaching role of a qualified school librarian; focusing on innovation and showing the importance of the school library programme in the learning process of all students.
