Milano-Cardiff andata e ritorno

Abstract

The article describes two related Erasmus experiences that took place in May 2011 and September 2012. The first one involved an Italian librarian from the University of Milan, who was received by the University of Cardiff, while the second one involved a Welsh librarian, who returned the visit. They both contributed to the information literacy programme “Vieni in biblioteca”, promoted by the libraries of Humanities and Law at the University of Milan. The choice of the University of Cardiff finally proved strategic because of its renowned activity in the field of information literacy. The first part is about the period in Cardiff and it’s followed by an analogous report on the visit to Milan, written in English by the Welsh librarian. A detailed description of the programme “Vieni in biblioteca” concludes the article.
