Abstract


After analyzing the birth and history of Nursing Libraries in the United States, the article makes a comparison between the situations in USA and Italy. The article explores the contemporary problems emphasizing the benefits of a multidisciplinary dialogue between nursing area and librarianship area, with the aim to improve the results of training, research and nursing.
