Abstract

The Turin Provincial Student Council has decided to act on school libraries as places for meeting, discussion and inclusion. Some schools in Turin have begun to open their libraries even in the afternoon hours to everyone, putting the student at the center of culture. The goals and vision of the Turin Council’s projects aim to transform the school into an educational hub that goes beyond a merely notional knowledge, but is interwoven with contemporary books and documents, activities and experiences making study a time of strong growth.
