Abstract

The paper describes the contents and the development of a seminar which took place in March during the yearly librarians’ convention at the Stelline Palace of Milan. This year the conference dedicated a special space to archives and archivists. The event focused on the methods, tools and strategies of training and communication necessaries to manage archives in an informed and contemporary way, from their production to their enhancement. An explicit emphasis has been placed on the projects realized in Regione Lombardia and on the current trials at the Macerata University.
