Abstract

What should a library “be” today and how should it “be done” (from the point of view of the services and the spaces)? From these questions arise some considerations on the mission and characteristics that a public library should have today, and which were the criteria that inspired the projects of the new libraries of Pergine Valsugana and Comano Terme, two municipalities near Trento.
