Abstract

The article describes the participatory experience of a working group that was formed on the occasion of the Stelline Convention 2023. The group, whose objective was to organise a session on the theme “Participatory library publics”, produced numerous materials useful for the organisation of the session, but at the same time delved into the concept of participation in all its theoretical and practical aspects, starting with the seven dimensions of participation: learning, decision-making, resources, voluntariness, listening, evaluation, belonging.
