Abstract

The paper analyzes first what is the comparative method and how it applies to Library and information science studies. In the second part, the proposed notes and suggestions represent the starting point for a future research track whose goal is to compare Library and information science and Digital humanities in the Italian context, to bring out and systematize contact points and similarities between these disciplinary fields thanks to the methodological support of comparison.
