Abstract
L'editore Giuseppe Laterza, recensendo un recente libro sulla storia della casa editrice italiana Barbèra (fondata a Firenze nel 1854), coglie l'occasione per fare un confronto con la storia di Laterza, una delle più prestigiose case editrici italiane. Ne suggerisce anche alcuni interessanti osservazioni sull'attività editoriale del passato e del presente.
English abstract
The publisher Giuseppe Laterza, reviewing a recent book on the history of the Italian publishing house Barbèra (established in Florence in 1854), takes the opportunity to make a comparison with the history of Laterza, one of the most prestigious Italian publishing companies. He also suggests some interesting remarks on publishing work in the past and in present times.
