Abstract
Questo articolo descrive le attività di Information Literacy (IL) offerte agli studenti universitari presso la Biblioteca Centrale di Rimini Campus, Università di Bologna, comprese le modalità di svolgimento del processo di ricerca. Vengono analizzati standard e modelli e vengono forniti degli esempi. Il modello Kuhlthau viene adottato come il più adatto. I seminari mostrano agli studenti come avvicinarsi ricercare e segmentare un argomento generale per focalizzare questioni specifiche. Infine, gli studenti impareranno a utilizzare il paratesto di documenti. Obiettivo dei seminari IL è insegnare metodi e tecniche per realizzare un testo originale, partendo da letteratura esistente. Agli studenti viene inoltre insegnato ad analizzare criticamente la letteratura che hanno trovato.
English abstract
This paper describes the information literacy (IL) activities offered to undergraduates at the Central Library of the Rimini Campus, University of Bologna, including how to carry out the research process. Standards and models are analyzed , and examples are supplied. The Kuhlthau model is adopted as the most suitable. Seminars show students how to approach research and segment a general subject to focus the specific issues. Finally, students will learn how to use the paratext of documents. The objective of the IL seminars is to teach methods and techniques to create an original text, starting from existing literature. Students are also taught to critically analyze the literature they have found.
