Towards a library economy
Funding, planning and increasing value in times of crisis
Milan, 11th – 12th March 2010
Palazzo delle Stelline - Corso Magenta, 6
Libraries as cultural and research institutions, documentary assets and organization services, have a clear economic and financial interest that deserves a closer examination and discussion; even more if related to the side effects of the global crisis and to the measures used to overcome it. The 2010 Stelline Meeting is meant to open a discussion about this subject not only within the professional community, but also including the key contribution of managers and economists.
Its aim is to improve the awareness of the cost reduction processes being implemented, suggesting also how to see new opportunities even in times of financial straigts.
