Abstract

The library of the Department of History and Culture (DiSCi) at the University of Bologna has developed two prototypes of apps to help users with finding the correct shelves after searching the catalogue. All OPACs show the call number, but do not show the placement of books in the library. A newcomer user or a newcomer member of the staff can take advantage of an app showing the exact path to be followed.
