Abstract

The author × inspired by the exhibition Pagine da collezione at the Labirinto della Masone and by the catalogue published in 2018 by FMR about Corrado Mingardi’s artist books donated to Cariparma × noticed the lack of female artists both in the exhibition and the catalogue. This is the starting point for various considerations which allow to demonstrate the exuberance of these female artists and to highlight the numerous gender initiatives which will take place in Italy. The author hopes that it will soon be possible a catalogue inclusive of all book artists without exceptions.
