Abstract

Accessibility and inclusion are basic aspects for the implementation of library services, as libraries play an essential and catalytic role to facilitate the active participation of disabled people in cultural, economic and social life. Design for all embodies a pillar of the e-Inclusion policies of the European Community and of the Italian legislation about libraries, defending the principle of equality and considering the requirements and the habits of the users, in order to offer useful, efficient and attractive services, including through libraries websites.
