Abstract

Oodi, the new public library of Helsinki which has been recently inaugurated, is one of the most advanced examples both for the adopted architectural solutions and the innovative services. It’s highlighted also the philosophy behind the project, which offers not only an access to knowledge but also a place where people can meet and socialize. At the end of the paper there is an interview to Laura Norris, Service Manager of Oodi.
