Gruppi di lettura: dalle biblioteche ai nuovi spazi sociali

Abstract

This paper aims to reflect on the Reading Groups through some meaningful experiences that affected the panorama of Italian public libraries in the last decade. Choosing to share one’s personal reading is a response to the new needs of today’s readers, as shown with the proliferation of social reading platforms; currently, the Reading Groups build a privileged reservoir for a qualitative analysis on the changes in reading.
