La Fondazione BEIC al Convegno delle Stelline

Abstract

The paper deals with three workshops organised by Fondazione BEIC (European Library of Information and Culture) which took place in March during the yearly librarians’ convention at the Stelline Palace of Milan. The first workshop intended to evaluate the impact of the FRBR model (Functional Requirements for Bibliographic Description) twenty years after its publication. The second workshop analyzed the peculiarities of digital cataloguing, while the third one described the engagement of BEIC in the realization of virtual exhibition as high disclosure models.
