Nasce il COREBIL

Abstract

The article gives a brief description of public libraries and of library networks in Lombardy. It shows that their development is based upon cooperation, but it also highlights the problems which are coming to light. The author explains then the aims of a tool for coordinating library networks, called COREBIL. It has been adopted to provide new ways of governance for changing and innovating.
