Le esperienze di “manutenzione” del patrimonio gesuitico

Abstract

Starting from a reflection about the destruction of documents in 90’s Argentina, the subject of the preservation of jesuit archives and libraries is problematised, carrying as example the Historical Archive of the Pontifical Gregorian University. The documentary object must be considered within a specific social system. In our case, the contest of cultural goods is that one of “cultural industries”. Starting from Michel De Certeau, it is possible to distinguish the concepts of tactic and strategy, own space of the power. The everyday practices used by whom works in the cultural institutions represent a chance to overstep these strategies.
