Dalla collaborazione alla federazione

Abstract

In the last years, the Library System of the Florence University has been developing useful cooperations together with relevant regional Institutions. So far, the most successful experiences concern the Biomedical Library and the Careggi University Hospital, the Meyer University Hospital and the Regional Health System Agency, or the Humanities Library and the Regional Library “Luigi Crocetti”. These programs allowed to create an Integrated Library Systems among of the major Tuscan Universities, named SBART, founded to satisfy and follow the increased needs of the users and the high level of the new technologies.
