Promuovere la lettura nelle valli valdesi: l’esperienza di Pralibro

Abstract

The contribution examines briefly the main features of Pralibro, an initiative realized between July and August in Prali, a small village of Val Germanasca, in Piedmont, in which for centuries is established the Waldensian community. The identity of Pralibro, promoted by libraries “Il Ponte sulla Dora” (Rocco Pinto) and “Claudiana” (Sara Platone) of Turin, by community and Tavola valdese, represented by Pastor Vito Gardiol, funded also by the Municipal Administration, consists of a large library, set up in the Sala valdese, and of a series of meetings with authors and workshops for children and young people, implemented in the beautiful environment of the Tempio. The 2016 edition was attended among others by Enrico Camanni, Giorgio Caponnetti, Elena Varvello, Gustavo Zagrebelsky, Marco Ballestracci, Emiliano Poddi, Eleonora Sottili, Ennio Fassone, Tiziano Fratus.
