In vitro

Abstract

In vitro was an experimental project in Reading Promotion realized by the “Centro per il libro e la lettura” of the Ministry of Culture, in collaboration with regions, provinces and municipalities. Funded by Arcus with 2 million euro, involved, from 2012 to 2016, six regions across the country: the provinces of Biella, Ravenna, Nuoro, Lecce, Syracuse and the Umbria region. The article detects the main features of this important initiative and focuses in particular on the role and the activities of the Association “Forum del libro”, to which the author belongs, in the realization of the project. The “Forum del libro” participated creating a Data Base of best practices in Reading Promotion among children and kids, managing the web site and realizing th e final Report of the project.
