L’importanza dei carteggi come fonti per la storia del libro, delle biblioteche e della bibliografia

Abstract

The aim of the paper is to demonstrate the great heuristic and exegetical value for the researches relating to the history of libraries and of bibliography. Starting from an hypothesis proposed in particular about the epistolaries and the correspondences of the XVII and XVIII centuries in Italian areas, as instruments for an historic and bibliographic research, the paper gives an evidence of the elements and the aspects that would be precious for giving a good hermeneutical frame, not only for the cultural humus, but also for the economic and geopolitical one for those periods.
