Abstract


GIDIF-RBM (Italian acronym that stands for Gruppo italiano documentalisti dell’industria farmaceutica e degli istituti di ricerca biomedica) is an association born in 1985, working to support and protect the role of the “documentalista”, the librarian who works in the biomedical field. The article provides an overview of the various initiatives carried out during thirty years of life of the association, aimed to the development and the update of this profession.
