La rete Bibliosan e il suo ruolo nel panorama della ricerca biomedica

Abstract

BIBLIOSAN is a system funded by the Italian Ministry of Health and whose aim is to carry out a cooperative and operative network amongst libraries of the Italian Biomedical Research Institutes. The main goals achieved during more than 10 years of activity were a shared catalogue of all current and historical journals, a collaboration with NILDE for the exchange and delivery of documents, the acquisition of shared resources through a coordinate acquisition policy of biomedical e-journals and databases. It certainly represents one of the most important initiative of interlibrary cooperation in our country.
