Le biblioteche come beni culturali nel pensiero di Giovanni Spadolini

Abstract

In the midst of the debate concerning the reform of the Italian Ministry of cultural heritage, the author of this article recalls Giovanni Spadolini, the one who gave birth to that ministry. At the same time, Diego Maltese offers his personal recollections: documents and notes tracking back to the time when he was called to give his contribution in the definition of a modern view for the national “librarian system”.
