La lettura a scuola: una finestra sul futuro

Abstract

The article summarizes the objectives and reasons behind the conference “Reading at school: a window on the future” and emphasizes some of the novelties gained in the last two/three years in this field, starting from the appeal in favor of school libraries, promoted by the Forum del Libro in June 2021 together with many associations (among the first adhesions that of the AIB and Ibby Italia), up to the current phase characterized by the implementation of the PNRR within the schools. Among the most concrete results of this phase, two are reported: the establishment of the control room for the implementation of the law on the promotion of reading inside of the Ministry of Education (today MIM) and the concrete identification of the regional Polo schools for reading provided from the law 1 February 2020, n. 15.
