Abstract

The life, the passion and the pastoral works of the bishop Vincenzio Savio (1944-2004) shine through in his library that was donated to the Seminario Gregoriano (Belluno) after his death in 2004. The purpose of this contribution is to let readers know how important the books were in his short and exceptional life with a particoular attention to his biography and his religious mission in the Diocesi of Belluno-Feltre.
