RDA: differenze tra il toolkit originario e la versione ufficiale del 2020

Abstract

The paper aims to analyze the main differences between the original version of the RDA Toolkit published in 2010 and the official version published in 2020, in order to observe the main transformation due to the alignement with IFLA LRM, the new conceptual model published in 2017. In particular, the changes in textual organization, the treatment of entities, attributes and relationships, and the way data is recorded will be analyzed. Finally, the crucial role played by application profiles in the new toolkit will be presented.
