Usare RDA per gli authority record nel catalogo dell’Associazione IRIS

Abstract


The essay intends to examine the approach to the use of RDA (Resource Description and Access) on a selection of authority record from the catalogue of IRIS - Associazione di biblioteche storico-artistiche e umanistiche dell’area fiorentina. From this application, we highlight the enrichment, the enhancement and the enlargement of the data of the authority record. The RDA-MARC 21 Authority mapping and the example will explain the process that determined the particular application choices.
