Abstract

As it happened almost 15 years ago, when the Municipality of Tower Hamlets in London combined the services of several libraries with training activities for citizens, now the Idea Stores go forward to keep their role as a model for libraries around the world. Today, in the face of the profound economic, social and health crisis that Britain is experiencing, they are successfully rethinking their services. The crisis is also an opportunity to look again at the organization, the technologies and the way to use them, in order to better serve the public and its needs.
