Barcellona: diario di viaggio

Abstract

The article describes the study-week of the author at the Rare Book and Manuscript CRAI Library of the University of Barcellona. In addition to working in team with the librarian David Fenandez, it was possible to visit the Pavelló de la República CRAI Library, the Centre for Plant Biodiversity Research (CDBV), the Taller de Restauració, the Digitalization Centre (CEDI). I had the chance to attend their technical activities, to understand their way of work, to appreciate the database they product and use. The public presentation of the libraries of origin, at the beginning of the week, is a precious activity to live together and share skills, competences and problem solving on the ancient collections management.
